According to some gris fans, UM’s backs and o-linemen are better than the Bobcats’ backs and linemen (apparently, Gilman is better than any Bobcat RB). If that’s the case, the gris should be able to run for enough yardage to win, right?
Are you serious? If true, that is a crazy stupid statement on their part.

Yes, when I saw that it made me really look forward to the upcoming Brawl. But we have business ahead of us before that.

Well he did rush for 86 yards on 8 carries with a long of 85. And set the all time rushing td yardage record.

I think Riley is quick to point out how underrated NAU was when they played them, but in turn it must be pointed out how overrated UC Davis is probably going to be this year.
The main reason UM and EW beat Cal Davis is because RB Lan Larison was injured. No one has been able to pick up the slack since he went out. Larison was the leading rusher in the BSC up until he was hurt. He had 479 yards in less than four games. Davis was leading EWU before he went out 24-20 and 7 of EW’s points were off a pick6.

I think davis wins both of those games with Larison but I might be biased because I picked Davis to win BSC this year.

Agreed! I should have worded- point out how inept their offense is without Larison. They are like a whole different team.

Watched some of the Cal Poly/ Idaho game. I think this game is actually not a blow out. CP was able to get after McCoy a bit and got their first sack of the conference this year. I don't think Idaho's O-line is elite. CP WR's had some really horrible drops and had a catch that hit the WR in the hands and went out for an INT. A line just over a TD is correct. Vandals by 9ish.

Ok now for my rant. Leave it up to Americans to take something from another culture and butcher it. Calling a mug for beer a stein is incorrect. If you asked that in Germany they would wonder why this guy wants a stone. The word stein is a shortened version of the word Steinkrug. Stein meaning stone and krug meaning mug. We've all seen those ornate ceramic Oktoberfest mugs? That's a Steinkrug. If your in Germany order and MaB (Not sure how to type the wierd b) but its pronounced mass. You get a 1 liter mug of amazing beer.

So really they are playing for the the little brown stone this weekend. yay

If you look at the stats, they are pretty even except for rushing (spuds +100 yds) and time of possession (spuds +8 min).

I think the way the Griz play D, gives them a chance to keep it close. PFF grades has the Idaho O line at 114th out of 122 teams in pass blocking. They may get gashed in the run game, but if they bring pressure a lot they may force McCoy to make mistakes and get some sacks. I'm not sold on Idaho's defense either. I think Idaho wins a close one 31-27.

I haven't watched much of msu and none from Idaho, but from what I can gather, I think Idaho will score and UM has had difficulty generating points this year. Also, UMs defense looks S-L-O-W out there.

I'm thinking 35-17.

Sports Bet MT has Idaho as 7.5 point favorites so far.
Wow, I’ll take Idaho !
Yep, me too. I see it being a two score game, somewhere in the range of 10-14 points, but it certainly wouldn't shock me if the margin was slightly more than that even. They aren't as bad as they looked against NAU, but I don't think they're any better than just a middle of the pack team in the BSC, with a fairly large group including UCD, WSU, EWU, PSU and NAU.
The spread is up to 11.5 right now.

Good gracious Colter Nuanez saying the Gris having their biggest win since they beat the Bobcats some years ago. Blah blah blah neither of those teams are worth much. Idaho should roll. My guess Idaho 32 gris 13. Idaho gets the Big Brown Stain.
Well, if he was talking regular-season only, then it probably IS their biggest win since Cat griz 2021. They beat nobody with a winning record last season and all their wins this season are against bad FCS teams and a D2 team.
Yes, he was talking regular season and I agree it’s a “signature” win as Colter put it. Just rather amusing to me how giddy Colter and Grizzly voice Corcoran appeared. That’s the kind of signature that appears on an overdraft!
I kind of disagree. I think that was a really nice win for the gris. UCD is a great team and I think they are as good as Idaho. They killed idaho last year. The big difference is just them missing their best RB.

UCD is missing more than just their star RB. Both teams looked average at best if you watched the game. Davis was just slightly more average so they lost the game.

Colter and crew sound desperate on the radio show and podcast these days. They are looking for any silver lining they can manufacture. I'm sure it's content-based though. Hard to keep people interested if you spend every griz segment acknowledging they don't have it this year. Gotta give the Walmart fans some hope.

I certainly did watch the game and IMHO they are both as good as the Idaho team I've seen play. It all comes down to matchups from week to week. UCD kicked the crap out of idaho last year and neither team is vastly different. I guess we'll see.

So far the griz seem to want the poop jug more. Not watching the game just watching the score. Honestly surprised. Is Idaho a no show?
