Re: Griz at NAU
I'm really disappointed with how poor the gris season is playing out to be. It might actually force them to change their head coach and I really appreciate the level of mediocracy booby has brought to the program.

As a Cat fan, I want Bobby to have a lifetime contract because he sure as hell isn't the answer to them winning the Big Sky, let alone a national championship
As a general football fan, he needs to go. The Griz looked beyond embarrassing today, and it starts with the coaching

I vote for lifetime contract for Bobby! That would be a great poll for BN! I can’t stand the guy, but they will be mired in mediocrity forever with him.damnyoutuesday wrote: ↑Sat Sep 23, 2023 6:18 pmAs a Cat fan, I want Bobby to have a lifetime contract because he sure as hell isn't the answer to them winning the Big Sky, let alone a national championship

I think that may be giving him too much credit
I honestly think he may just not be that smart. Meaning hit lack of wits unintentionally comes across like a sick. Reality.....not that smart

I think he was. I think he is tired now and doesn't have the fire anymore.Prodigal Cat wrote: ↑Sat Sep 23, 2023 5:49 pmWas boobs ever a good coach? I mean he kept the train rolling for a few years in his first stint but now we are seeing the same thing UNLV saw. If he isn’t given every advantage he is subpar.

Re: Griz at NAU
It was stupid. Yes everyone was thinking it, but no coach is going to throw a player under the bus to the press. Or shouldn't. But the fact that he let Vidlak keep playing so unsuccessfully is a valid question, and one Bobby will need answer moving forward. Brown might have been more successful yesterday honestly.

Re: Griz at NAU
I didn't think it was an unfair question. As far as I know, the griz have been playing 2 guys at QB this season and still haven't officially proclaimed either guy as starter. So a reporter can't ask why the other guy didn't play???
Would it be unfair if Tommy was dressed last night but didn't play, and a reporter asked Vugen why not?
Its just Hauck being a douche and taking his bad mood out on the press, as usual.

Re: Griz at NAU
Instead of being a dick, Hauck should have just said that they thought Vidlak gave them the best chance to win and that was the gameplan.91catAlum wrote: ↑Sun Sep 24, 2023 11:15 amI didn't think it was an unfair question. Exactly. Hauck chose to be an A-hole in that situation.cats2506 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 24, 2023 11:23 amInstead of being a dick, Hauck should have just said that they thought Vidlak gave them the best chance to win and that was the gameplan.91catAlum wrote: ↑Sun Sep 24, 2023 11:15 amI didn't think it was an unfair question. Griz needed the Bobcats to play NAU first to soften them up.

Couldn't resist going to egriz just to see how bad they're imploding. Pretty bad.
Interesting topic on the NAU assistant coach and whether Robin P. contributed at all. He's retired apparently but they're speculating his involvement somehow to help squash Bobby. Could be. Doesn't matter really but interesting twist in NAU beating the team that beat the team that beat them.

If it was that easy, the Cats should get Pflugrad on staff.nanacat wrote: ↑Sun Sep 24, 2023 11:55 amCouldn't resist going to egriz just to see how bad they're imploding. Pretty bad.

But I love that they are resorting to conspiracy theories over there!

Re: Griz at NAU
You see, NAU gives extra financial support to minorities, so, in reality, NAU has 105 full-rides to give out. Hell, NAU’s players are making so much that NAU is practically an NFL team.Prodigal Cat wrote: ↑Sat Sep 23, 2023 3:22 pmSo Butler has the best QB that would play in the Big Sky
Ferris St would be ranked in the FCS
Let me guess. NAU is national champion caliber despite being 0-3.
Did I miss anything?
