Re: Big Sky Predictions Week 4
Pretty fair pick on the Idaho game! Vandals win 36-27 by scoring 9 points in the final 0:05 seconds! Idaho fans, for the most part, stayed within the woodwork. (Ugh. Watching games in the Kibbie Dome gives me — nothing.)wapiti wrote: ↑Tue Sep 19, 2023 9:12 amConference play begins. We actually have several interesting matches in that the teams are somewhat evenly matched.
CP 17 at 27 PSU--- The Vikings impressed me more in the OOC games and they are the home team as well.
EWU 24 at 32 UCD--- Davis is hosting and probably has slightly better talent, but EWU is showing they are improved over last year.
UM 38 at 14 NAU--- They each have a common opponent in Utah Tech. Look at those results and the prediction here is an easy one to make.
MSU 25 at 17 WSU---The Bobcats will have their hands full with this game. Should be a good one. I see the Bobcats as having more depth being the difference maker.
UNC 14 at 24 ISU---How many fans are going to want to watch this game?
SAC 27 at 35 UI---This should be a whale of a game. I see the Vandals home field advantage being the difference maker. This one may attract Vandal fans out of the woodwork. FCS Game of the week.

Eastern beating uc davis is big. That helps our chances for winning the big sky (shared or outright).
A lot of people had uc Davis as the sleeper to win the big sky this year.

Losing Larison in the 3rd quarter really hurt Davis. He had like 250 yards at that point.mslacatfan wrote: ↑Sat Sep 23, 2023 11:11 pmEastern beating uc davis is big. That helps our chances for winning the big sky (shared or outright).

Re: Big Sky Predictions Week 4
I got my usual one out of five right. And the score for the one wasn’t even close. I suck.

Idaho should tear down that dome. It would allow for much greater expansion, fix the goalposts, and set the game outside as it should be.

Re: Big Sky Predictions Week 4
Correct. That was the ultimate turning point for the game. Larison was the UC Davis offense.BleedingBLue wrote: ↑Sat Sep 23, 2023 11:19 pmLosing Larison in the 3rd quarter really hurt Davis.
