I agree, just have thought it is interesting even sports reporters have not stated if it is walk on or scholarship.VimSince03 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 12, 2023 9:08 pmI mean yes but still any offer from a Power 5 program is big, PWO or Full Ride.tetoncat wrote: ↑Mon Jun 12, 2023 7:17 pmDoesn't say scholarship, just offer to play. Could be walk on?VimSince03 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 12, 2023 3:37 pm
After not putting any kids in the "Rare Ones" category, Hayden Hanks has committed to Boise State and Quinn Clark picks up an offer from Nebraska.

Also, one thing to consider is NIL is blurring those lines, especially for programs who have a passionate fan base willing to dump money into players. Theoretically it's possible that he's a walk on, but receiving outside money to cover (or go beyond) the cost of attendance at a school like Nebraska.tetoncat wrote: ↑Tue Jun 13, 2023 7:40 amI agree, just have thought it is interesting even sports reporters have not stated if it is walk on or scholarship.VimSince03 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 12, 2023 9:08 pmI mean yes but still any offer from a Power 5 program is big, PWO or Full Ride.tetoncat wrote: ↑Mon Jun 12, 2023 7:17 pmDoesn't say scholarship, just offer to play. I imagine there are more offers to come, he's apparently one of the best kicker/punters in the country. Very cool for him, looks like he's worked very hard for this.

Is Joshua Woodberry (Bozeman Gallatin) former Montana State football player Mike Woodberry's son?

6’3” 190, solid frame, fast outside threat, All-State AA hoops as well. Glacier has a transfer QB from California that supposedly throws a good ball so their WRs should flourish this year.
Seattle to Billings to Missoula to Bozeman to Portland to Billings

Son of former Griz Travis Walker is transferring to Sentinel from Spokane for his senior season. A little surprised he just got offered but he's still developing and has a very high ceiling. His Dad and Mom were both phenomenal athletes so I expect Grady to keep improving and potentially have a big senior season. Right now I would put him in the partial category but that could change quickly if he's dominating in AA this fall.

Sort of a done deal. Moving to Missoula for a year to get in-state tuition. Walk on, pwo, partial or full is all up to him now.VimSince03 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 21, 2023 10:32 am

So we've now got three FBS offers in state -- Two Power 5 guys and 1 very high-end group of five. How often does the state meet or exceed that number. My guess is, not very often, but older hands around here would know better.

Re: 2024 Montana Recruits
Getting Sharbono and Marsh as interior DL last year in-state probably meant they only were going to pursue 1 in-state DL this year. Prioritized Hanks first, he commits to BSU, and now offered next best in Wiens. No inside info just guessing. Not how I would've played it by waiting this long because the tape shows a clear scholarship player but if we still get him MSU likely knew they had the inside track.
