Ran into Jan Stenerud on the slopes. Got him to sign a pair of my skis. Wife keeps trying to throw them away but I won't let her. On a side note. Jan can really tear up the slopes. If I remember correctly he was on a ski scholarship.

Post a picture. I'd like to see them.

I have Jan Stenerud’s Super Bowl ring, Travis Lulay’s Grey Cup ring, and a picture of the three of us partying on my yacht. Just kidding, I don’t have anything.

My Dad got to try on Jans Super Bowl ring once. At least, that’s a story he told me.

😂 Good response!! Just like every defensive lineman that got in his way. I hope your plastic surgery / head-reinflation procedure was successful.

It’s amazing what you can find on eBay. Got a 1947 Harbor Bowl program with 2 tickets, 1976 Pioneer Bowl program and ticket to said game and other programs from the late 1940’s to 1960’s. I too intend to give these items to the athletic department. Wish I could post photos for you all but seem to be unable to. Tried the link listed above but apparently you need to provide a credit card number.

Thank you! Those are really fun to see. Makes the history come alive. I do not remember hearing any mention of the Harbor Bowl, ever. What happened? Who won? Anyone here remember it personally? That one even precedes my personal history by two years.

This was Montana State’s first bowl game. Although the final score was 13-13 the bowl game record indicates MSU was declared the winner. Not sure how that was determined, I guess overtime wasn’t a thing.

Thanks for posting those images. I’ve always liked the artwork on old programs and tickets. I know a lot of the old program covers were used by multiple football teams though. That Pioneer bowl program is cool and I’d love to have it but the cover artwork is kind of lame compared to some of the 1930s-1960s programs. Sadly, that’s all gone now with the changeover to electronic tickets and no programs.
