Less likely than it used to be and very dependent on the matchup. The pace that K State plays at is what worries me.MSU01 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 12, 2023 4:41 pmAny 14 seed might get run out of the building against a 3. Kansas State is only #24 in the Net rankings and got their signature wins against Kansas and Texas in early January. On paper this seems at least a more favorable matchup than last year against Texas Tech.BleedingBLue wrote: ↑Sun Mar 12, 2023 4:36 pmMight get run out of the building again like last year.

Kansas State Wildcats
After snapping a seven-game losing streak against in-state rival Kansas on Jan. 17, Jerome Tang stood on a table swarmed by KSU fans. He had a message for them: You can court-storm tonight but never again, because this is our new normal now.
He wasn't lying. In his first season leading the Wildcats, the former Baylor associate head coach has established a new culture in Manhattan, Kansas. The Wildcats entered the postseason with 23 wins, their highest win total since 2018-19. Their résumé boasts victories over Kansas, Texas and Baylor (twice). Florida transfer Keyontae Johnson (17.8 PPG, 7.7 RPG, 42% from 3) and Markquis Nowell (17.0 PPG, 7.7 APG), who were both named to the all-Big 12 first team, have been the anchors. From Feb. 1 through the end of the regular season, however, Kansas State committed turnovers on 21.3% of its possessions, for a ranking of 340 out of 363 Division I teams, per barttorvik.com. 5 stars

The Bobcats will be the crowd favorite in Greensboro. The NCAA did us a big solid.

What’s the best chance Msu has had going into the tournament?
Kansa State
Texas Tech
Syracuse
St. John’s
Big East the first two years. Big 12 the last two.
That was when the Big East was the Big Beast.

Lots of MSU fans in Greensboro. Plus they hate KSU there.
Purple Wildcats have been good for the Bobcats lately.

I'm looking forward to the Brown - Nowell match up.
While registering my vehicles the assessor stated "I have had both Cat and Griz students and alums work for me and the Griz end up working under the direction of the Cats."

ESPN is listing the game at 7:40 PM on CBS. KSU 8.5 favorites.

The best part of this matchup is that it's on Friday night on CBS so essentially anyone with a tv can watch the game.

Eastwood, did not make it. Ball out! Recovered, by Montana State!! The Bobcats hold!!! The Bobcats hold!!!

MSU will be used to the late 9:40 local start time after playing the Big Sky semifinal and final at 9 and 9:30 respectively! They also have a strong history so far this year going against purple teams called the Wildcats in the playoffs.coloradocat wrote: ↑Sun Mar 12, 2023 7:01 pmThe best part of this matchup is that it's on Friday night on CBS so essentially anyone with a tv can watch the game.![]()

Not good for those who had planned on driving to the regional.
We could use a local rooting section...

Now is why we need to have the players names on the back of the jerseys. Time to start looking like were a big time program!

It's a mere 2,101 miles and 31 hours of driving time from Bozeman to Greensboro...can't be much worse than driving from Broadus to Libby, right?
