That thing is crazy looking. Money, wish we had a third of what they are putting into that building.Bobcatsinmso wrote: ↑Wed Dec 07, 2022 10:33 amNothing less than what the ducks have in Eugene will do. Only about 200 million to get it done, so put everything else on hold.
All kidding aside if you ever have a chance to check it out....wow.

I'm not sure anyone said we couldn't wish. Wishing and complaining are two different things though. I'm ecstatic to see what the Cats do have planned now, but I'd love to see a Sugar Daddy/Mommy come to the rescue with a $100 million or so.coloradocat wrote: ↑Wed Dec 07, 2022 2:34 pmI thought we weren't allowed to wish for more than what has been proposed.AFCAT wrote: ↑Wed Dec 07, 2022 2:16 pmThat thing is crazy looking. So would the IPF hurt our cold weather dominance that we saw tonight against other teams ?

Re: Indoor facility
IPF would give us the best of both worlds. Ability to practice harder and safer when outdoor field and weather are bad and team can always practice on bad field and in bad weather if coach wants them to keep acclimated to those conditions

Re: Indoor facility
To me the best thing about an IPF is not about having one in for cold but rather spring and summer weather. I would venture when we get an IPF, it won't likely be used heavily during the season. I think an IPFs value comes during spring when MT weather is garbage and in camp when it's hot and often smokey. We're gonna have the best of both worlds: the ability to practice indoors in April and August and the advantage of acclimation in November and December. Our cup overfloweth...man

Had we beaten SDSU, this crazy cold snap further justifies the need for the IPF. I’ll keep buying lotto tickets

There's been some speculation on this board that we could see construction completed within 2 years....so I'm thinking we may have it ready for the 2024 season....does that sound about right? Any more clarity around the timing of this?

We should know more by this Spring. When the money is raised, construction of the actual building won’t take that long.Catfanatic84 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 31, 2022 10:43 amThere's been some speculation on this board that we could see construction completed within 2 years....so I'm thinking we may have it ready for the 2024 season....does that sound about right? Bison can thank one of my old bosses for their new shinny building. Donated nearly 20 million after they sold the family business for a measly 2.4 billion.

Crazy. I keep hoping something like this happens with Bobcat Football. I know we've seen a lot of very generous donations to the program, athletics, and MSU in general, but you know there has to be MSU billionaires out there that could throw 50 million into the program.Catbacker_1 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 05, 2023 3:49 pmBison can thank one of my old bosses for their new shinny building.
