I think it makes more sense to have it closer to the BAC locker room than where originally planned. You would have had to dress-out in the BAC locker room, cross Kagy Blvd and walk across snowy Dyche Field / parking lot to get the IPF at that location.

It can be used by track even though it will not have a track. If they get surprised and raise a lot more money than expected they will add a track.

Gotta believe yesterday was a HUGE in terms of getting the IPF funded/finished/whatever. Also, gotta believe yesterday may have swayed some possible whales for future endeavors(east side grandstand, suites, boxes, ect). College Gameday AND stomping the gwizzlies on the same day?! My initial take is it was lousy to have Faldo as the game day personality. However from a perspective of funding, it might have been a stroke of genius. Get him to contribute some seed money and and badger all of the folks up on the mountain to drop in a huge amount.

Go back and listen to Faldos pick on the USC game. He pretty much nailed the outcome of that game. I would be happy if he bought us some new speakers. Those are about as embarrassing as the Griz defense.
