Gris have run 70 plays with 1:27 left in the 3rd. Moving the ball very slowly against Sacramento. Three turnovers in their favor, and dominating the time of possession by 2:1. Yet the gris only lead 17-7. Sacramento is somehow hanging in there. Sacramento has scored in every quarter this year but have been shut out in two quarters this game.
Gris defense is better than Sacramento’s offense. Sacramento’s defense is better than gris’s offense. The turnovers are the main difference. A balanced team should be able to defeat either of them.

Hornets score 3 and are down by 7. They recover their onside kick as the gris peel back early just like vs. Idaho. Sacramento has 5:30 left.

The defeat of the Hornets in this game was greatly exaggerated. They are back. Now that they have kept Dunniway in the game, he’s throwing quickly to avoid the rush and they are taking advantage of the gris cornerbacks who are getting called for some big PIs.
