Only in Blowsmen can you have a team that could possibly win the national championship and still only be the second best team in the state.
Of course, having a path to the chipper that is softer than baby ****** helps.

The Cats were the second best team in the state on November 20, 2021. Best team in the state otherwise, as evidenced by conference standings and success in the playoffs.UMclassof2002 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 29, 2021 7:10 pmOnly in Blowsmen can you have a team that could possibly win the national championship and still only be the second best team in the state.

Certainly you wouldn't claim that, due to Idaho's head-to-head victory, the 6-5 Vandals were better than the 1995 National Champion Grisslies. I doubt you would agree if someone said, "Only in Missoula can you have a team that could possibly win the national championship and still only be the second best team in the conference." No, you'd say the mediocre Vandals got the better of the Grisslies on one day in October 1995.
