Saw that coming from a mile away. Could see him going to somewhere like Oregon...
Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.

I guess I never really thought he was as good as he thinks he is.
With Riley going to USC and a better young QB on the team, It makes sense

Re: Spencer Rattler..
The little I have seen Rattler he did not look dominating.. Made some mistakes. Did he take a step backward or was he figured out...
Also a WR entered the portal.

Re: Spencer Rattler..
Doesn’t Oklahoma still have a bowl game? Did the guy just flat out quit on his team? Is he finishing the season?

You really don't get how it works nowadays, do you?
For the record, I don't like it either, but Pandora's box has been opened. Ain't no going back now.

Re: Spencer Rattler..
??? Why the snide response? He entered the portal and they still have a bowl game left. Is he done with Oklahoma, or he is still playing in the bowl game? I genuinely don’t know.

Coach's and players choice once they enter the portal. Some coaches say bye bye, you lose access to team and most facilities. Some players don't suit up if allowed.Cataholic wrote: ↑Tue Nov 30, 2021 11:43 pm??? Why the snide response? He entered the portal and they still have a bowl game left. If your not in the CFP (one of 4) who really cares about the bowl games

Re: Spencer Rattler..
I don't think a backup QB entering the portal before the season is over is that big of a deal. If the starter gets hurt they're probably screwed in their bowl game anyway, regardless of who the QB2 is.
Eastwood, did not make it. Ball out! Recovered, by Montana State!! The Bobcats hold!!! The Bobcats hold!!!

Re: Spencer Rattler..
I saw someone on twitter (can't remember who) projecting he'd go to JMU. He's an Arizona guy if I remember correctly, so there's an outside possibility he could end up in the big sky.

I would be shocked. He was on the short list for heisman going into the season. G5 or lesser P5 like U Arizona. I like the others don't think he was that great but dropping all the way to FCS.... no.

I agree....that would certainly seem to be the most logical next step.Prodigal Cat wrote: ↑Wed Dec 01, 2021 12:57 pmI would be shocked. He was on the short list for heisman going into the season. This is one of the biggest “falls from grace” I can remember in college football. Spencer went from being a Heisman Trophy front runner to riding the bench - without any extenuating circumstances - like an injury.
It just shows how quickly things can change in athletics.
