Re: FCS Playoffs First Round
A Missouri State win seems like a foregone conclusion.
I think SDSU will handle UC Davis easily.
I think EWU can get by a tough UNI team.

Round 1 of the playoffs
I'm watching the Sacred Heart Holy Cross game. Holy Cross has a pretty nice stadium but damn there's nobody there. I'm really glad we have such a great fan base that constantly packs the stadium.

Re: FCS Playoffs First Round
Ewu beat UNLV from the MWC 35-33 but look what AF did without throwing on pass. Talk about saying go ahead and pack the box.

Re: FCS Playoffs First Round
Sacred Heart seven holy Cross three at half time. Sorry I missed this thread when I posted mine. Appreciate any updates as the day goes on. Thanks
Did not see it as it is posted on college athletics rather than bobcat football. Seems like all the first round games could be relevant to Bobcat football?

Davis take a 10-7 lead over SDSU after a punt muff inside the 10. 2nd qtr.
SDSU has missed 2 FGs.

UNI 2 minute drill for a TD. EWU defense looked horrible. EWU 9 - 7 UNI.

Re: Round 1 of the playoffs
UTM just went up 16-14 just before half, then recover fumble on kickoff with 1:46 in first half

Re: FCS Playoffs First Round
Definitely! 4 turnovers by Missouri State is keeping it interesting. UTM could be up by a lot more.
19-17 UTM at half.

UTM could be up by more if they had not thrown that pick. Petrino State is doing everything they can to give UTM a chance91catAlum wrote: ↑Sat Nov 27, 2021 4:46 pmDefinitely! 4 turnovers by Missouri State is keeping it interesting. UTM could be up by a lot more.

Re: Round 1 of the playoffs
I’m concerned about EWU’s offense.
MSU - 16 team National Champions (most recent 2024); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

Re: Round 1 of the playoffs
Who could've seen that coming, usually firing your offensive coordinator 9 games into the season leads to immediate success. [/s]

Re: Round 1 of the playoffs
Worked for us when Matt Miller took over (don't think that was at 9 games, but still an abrupt change in the middle of the season).

Re: Round 1 of the playoffs
I was just kidding. I had little back-n-forth earlier this week about being “concerned” about MSU’s offense.catbooster wrote: ↑Sat Nov 27, 2021 11:30 pmWorked for us when Matt Miller took over (don't think that was at 9 games, but still an abrupt change in the middle of the season).
