A few upsets in March Madness...
A few bracket busters.
Syracuse beat San Diego St... Probably just a minor upset. 11 over 6
Rutgers over Clemson... Know nothing about Rutgers so no real sure but a 10 over a 7.
North Texas over Purdue. A 13 over a 4.
Oral Roberts over Ohio St... Wow, 15 over 2...
Oregon St beat Tennessee... A 12 over a 5...

Syracuse and that dang zone. It just befuddles teams that haven't seen it. SDSU couldn't figure it out and resorted to chucking deep threes that they weren't making.
North Texas was Abdul Mohamed's old team. I wondered why he got so few minutes there. I guess it's because they're loaded.
ORU is in the Summit League. The talking heads are saying that they have a legit shot of knocking off Florida and going to the sweet 16.
I guess Tinkle can coach a little bit. The Beavs are red hot right now. Tennessee didn't stand a chance.

Eastern Washington has caught Kansas by surprise too. Up 44-35 with 2 to go in the 1st half.

Napoleon Dynamite is trending on Twitter because of Jacob Groves
I'm guessing the only other Big Sky mbb player to trend on Twitter was Damian Lillard

Eastern finished the half on fire. Their bigs are good shooters and Kansas can't guard bigs out there. They might go smaller in the second half but I'd think the Groves boys would eat their guards up on the inside. They'll have to double a lot and the Groves are good passers so they'll find somebody open. I could see them pulling this off...they'll definitely have the energy!BleedingBLue wrote: ↑Sat Mar 20, 2021 12:04 pmEastern Washington has caught Kansas by surprise too. Just not enough to get past Kansas. The Groves brothers had like 60 of EWUs points.kennethnoisewater wrote: ↑Sat Mar 20, 2021 12:22 pmEastern finished the half on fire. I think KU scored on every possession in the second half or so it seemed. EWU played good offense-just not enough defense. The freaking Groves brothers will both be back. Ugh. Might have been Shantay Legan's last game at EWU though. I'd think he's going to get some offers.

And VCU Rams get the loss due to the stinking virus.
