Fantastic. The only issue, which isn't an issue with their new facility in particular, is when the seating is separated by a running track. Aside for the seizure inducing color, EWU has the same problem.

Re: Weber State Athletic Facility Takes Shape
I was thinking the same thing. I hate being a spectator separated from a football field by an 8 lane running track. The other difference EWU suffers from is this project (and ours) are happening. The Glorious Gateway Project might as well be filed in the trash can. UNCU and Southern Utah also have tracks around their fields, and probably others in the Big Sky.Darth Yoda wrote: ↑Mon Aug 19, 2019 10:15 pmFantastic. WOW that went up quick, they broke ground last year during football season. It was bare dirt when we played there last year.

The new facilities look great but with the track and the old bleachers built into the hill it still looks like a high school stadium.
Eastwood, did not make it. Ball out! Recovered, by Montana State!! The Bobcats hold!!! The Bobcats hold!!!

That’s all I can see too.coloradocat wrote: ↑Tue Aug 20, 2019 10:47 amThe new facilities look great but with the track and the old bleachers built into the hill it still looks like a high school stadium.
They look like great facilities and I’m sure that will help them with recruiting.
But anything that has a track around it just has a high school facility vibe to it.

Great facility! That is a game changer for them on top of an already nationally elite program.

Re: Weber State Athletic Facility Takes Shape
Thanks Rich - more than I thought but a long way to go to compete with the Cats and Griz. Cats will have the facility and still have 20,000 fans a game so should be a great recruiting tool for us comparatively.

Re: Weber State Athletic Facility Takes Shape
Sounds like EWU has approved some stadium upgrades. I don't think it's exactly the gateway project but it's an improvement.
Trying to link to their forum but there's probably 4 or 5 people on it so it's crashing.
