I put this in smack since I figure it was the most appropriate spot to state my opinion of baby hauck's off-season signings.

First of all, is it now not painfully obvious to EVERYONE who follows dUMM football that baby has indeed (as preached endlessly by Wolfman) left the offensive cupboard COMPLETELY BARE???

Isn't that the MAJOR REASON why baby had to go out and sign a bunch of free agent mercenaries, in a desperate attempt to revive their PATHETIC 05 offense?

Isn't it ironic that the very team and fans that have castigated (look it up, moronic griz fans) the Bobcats for years for signing out-of-state athletes and JC transfers, now has to resort to a handful of DI REJECTS in an effort to keep their once-proud franchise afloat?

Can you IMAGINE how pathetic the Griz offense would be in 06 if all they had available to them were those (cough, cough) players that the "genius" has garnered from his last 3 "best in America" recruiting classes?

Would ANY Big Sky opponent lay awake at night, worrying about the destruction that Bergquist, Hilliard, and Bagley were going to unleash upon them?

I will give baby hauck ONE ounce of credit for at least acknowledging that HIS OWN, SELF-RECRUITED offense would have been a LAUGHING-STOCK in the Big Sky in 06, and at least he's making a last-ditch attempt to salvage the situation.

Keep telling us how brilliant baby is, griz fans; we'll listen as long as you continue to offer him his next contract!

Henceforth, the team formerly known as the Grizzlies will now be referred to as the Mercenaries, the Mercs, or dUMM when discussed by yours truly.

Carry on.

El Gato during the '05 season: "You Grizzlies are pricks for pointing out how many Californians we have on our team."

El Gato preparing for '06 season: "Your team has too many mercs, Grizzlies."

El Gato reacting to Rolovich et al. transferring to MSU: "Bouncebacks are good."

El Gato reacting to Swogger et al. transferring to UM: "Bouncebacks are bad."

Uh, OK.

Look BOZO,

I dont know why Im going to try but here goes...

You state the offence would be "the laughing stock of the BSC in 2006". ITS THE SAME OFFENCE- Lost only Talmadge, without the recruits and THE GRIZ WENT TO THE PLAYOFFS...

Please explain your moronic statement

PS I see another I HATE BOBBY POST COMMING. Well Dickhead hes 29-11. Whats Krames record the last three years?

******, I mean scats,

I sincerely HOPE the Mercenaries take the field with the same offense they drug to the playoffs last year. Ask your griz comrades if they want Swogger and Chambers to sit in favor of Washington, Bergquist, or Troxel?

Secondly, ANY DII, I-AA, or DI coach in America could have accomplished NO WORSE than baby's record in his first 3 years, given the hand he was dealt. THE WORST COACH IN AMERICA would be hard pressed to have accomplished less that hauck. I'll bet Earl Solomonson could've matched it!

Come on, let's not exaggerate. I am probably the worst football coach in America (if I was a coach at all), and I'm pretty sure that I would have done no better than one or two wins WORSE than Hauck has done so far, and many even as poorly as losing the last three games of last year.

Sheesh.

Maybe, just not kramer.

Ill try again...
Your STUPID quote was that the Offence would be the "Laughing Stock in the BSC in 2006" My point was that the griz were not in 2005- So how would it change in 2006?

STATS FOR 2005- POINTS PER GAME
Griz 25.50
Cats 27.00
SO BY YOUR OWN ADMITTANCE, I GUESS THE KITTIES LOSING THEIR BEST QB EVER WILL BE THE REAL LAUGHING STOCK OF THE BSC in 2006!!!!!

PS Of the 4 tough games you had (OSU, EWU, POLY, UM) YOU LOST 3 and averaged 12.5 per game... Facts are facts In big games the MSU offence was PATHETIC, even with the best qb ever!!!!

interesting thread...next year will indeed be interesting for the cats and griz...mainly because each will be experimenting with new qbs...particularly the cats...but the cats have imported some fine talent as have the griz so i think the comparison field is pretty level...

given both teams are fielding "fresh" faces and several other teams are returning familiar and successful offenses...like weber and portland...the griz and cats could be out of the running come november...we're not the only teams that can put great teams on the field...

BAC the Griz lost the last 2 games of last year, not 3! You would be a bad coach, can't even count above 2.

i think he was saying he may have even lost the last 3 if he was the coach. sounded like he was defending huack not bashing him. i could have misread it as well!

Exactly, wtg. I was pointing out that I, as the worst coach on earth, may have lost more games in a row than the Griz did in reality if I was at the healm.

I'll make an effort to be less subtle in my future posts to spare 'Headsgriz from stubbing his toe as they fly over his head.

OK Lets compare:
2 Griz games vs Cal P 57 points (28.5 PG)
Cats 1 game 10 points

Lets talk conferance games
UM 173Points/7= 24.71
MSU 194Points/7= 27.70

So even in conferance your High Octane O was but 3 points better then the griz

As stated above the cats were 1-3 against the top teams they played.

last time I looked, its a team sport. So if the D helps out- Great.

I wish you kitties would throw off your blue colored glasses and really look at what Im posting. These are not opinions- BUT FACTS. The fact that you all try to dismiss truth, shows that you are HOMERS at heart and would not be able to be objective if you tried.

Let's see here...The bobcats are left with no quarterback that has played a meaningful down of football for the cats, and no receivers who have played a meaningful down of football for the cats. Kramer has publicly stated that he would like to get SEVEN transfers as the receiver position alone. WHO left their cupboard bare???

The Bobcat fear of all things Griz is palpable. Our team is so loaded now that we are playing BCS schools on a yearly basis:

http://www.missoulian.com/articles/2006 ... orts03.txt

Meanwhile the Bobcats have lost their only player of significance from an otherwise insignificant 3-4 year rebellion. Not to mention that our recruiting class (EXCLUDING dropdowns) is going to be better than than many I-A programs. We would probably BE I-A by now if we didn't have MSU like an albatross around our neck preventing our inevitable growth into a premier athletic department on a national scale. Perhaps we could absorb MSU and turn it into a HS prep academy for The Flagship...

As it stands, the trends are obvious. The Griz are looking forward, bringing in great HS recruits and the best available I-A transfers, and challenging ourselves with probably the most difficult 2006 schedule in I-AA football. Bobcats, on the other hand, are starting top level smack threads about...well, whatever this thread was about. Bottom line: Bobcat football peaked with Travis Lulay and order will be restored in 2006.

Damn, UM is great!

Much as it is fact that the original premise of the thread was Bobby's laughable offensive recruits up to this point. I guess you didn't want to talk about that.

It wasn't so much that the offense was the big joke for the Griz last year, it was how much you frizzies kept hyping them up. Even as the season wore on and it was obvious that the Griz O was limp, all we heard from grizidiots was how dominating they were gonna be the next week. Lex was gonna run for 180. JW/Cole was gonna "break-out" and pass for 320. Griz roll 55-10! blah blah blah.... It really is a treat to watch the blatant denial that exudes from the pores of some of you nerds.
