There is no doubt that Cat fans are disappointed we didn't make the playoffs but where Griz fans get our ire up is their claim they went because they were a better team. As I see it, which could be jaded, is that the ONLY reason the Griz went over us is Wa-Griz and the major bank that went with it for I-AA, not because of strength of schedule or more quality wins, but I could be wrong
You need to know how the playoffs work!!! - you did not go because you had 4 L's. Nothing more nothing less!!! 4L teams dont get in very often. Esp since the Griz and EWU only had 3 L's

Losing big to Cal Poly and by 3 to PSU Ended your season

No, our playoff hopes were still very much alive until the debacle in Cheney. If we would have beaten Eastern we not only would have been in the playoffs but would probably have been ranked around 7th or 8th and hosting with a playoff game...

True but it was the 4 L's that kept you out. Lose to EWU not unexpected, but PSU??? OUCH

You've got that right. Where Griz fans don't seem to find the difference is if we were to trade our loss to Cal Poly for a win against Missoula Sentinal, we would have been in ahead of you

if you're keeping score, France gave us Burgundy wine, cigarettes, berets, B.O., brie and the Napoleon complex-Bill Simmons

WOW! Who is this guy? He predicted Vince Young to be the star of the game? And did anyone else hear Matt Whinehart say he still thinks USC is the better football team? Matt better get used to losing as he is headed for a cellar dweller in the NFL.
