Strong is out after going 16-21. Houston's coach is reportedly hired to replace him.

Herman was the hottest coaching name out there. Can he get it done at Texas?

Can anyone get it done at Texas? That is one of the most delusional fanbases in the country, with a group of boosters who have WAY too much power and influence. 3 years isn't long enough. Too quick to pull the trigger, IMO. That said, the loss to Kansas was as bad a loss as any in recent memory...

Herman will tank worse than Strong. Should have let Strong finish what he started, he changed the culture stopped the crime and had a lot of freshman and sophs playing last year.

No one gets that luxury anymore. Win now, or else. Look at what Cutcliff did at Duke. Had 2-4 wins the first 3 years. Then has averaged over 9 since. At Duke!

It is the time of instant gratification.
