It's kind of ironic that he's taking a job that appears to be the chief fundraiser for the Santa Clara athletic department, given that he was criticized so extensively for that part of the job at MSU.
The job may be a bit easier at Santa Clara, though ... lots of rich alums in one of the richest places in the country.
