I think they (SME) did a good job, for what they had to do.

I think it will take a few years for the Sioux faithful to get over the change. I wonder what their big money donor thinks, or where he sits on this? If I remember correctly, he said he would pull funding if they ever changed their name. This was about the time he built the Hockey arena.

Ralph Engelstad died in 2002. His Family Trust still holds the arena though and rents it to the university. I doubt, at this point, that there will be much more done to bring back the Sioux.

Portland State and UND must have had the same logo designer...

It also looks similar to the Philadelphia Eagles logo ... appears they pulled inspiration from a lot of different places.
