NDSU and FCS championship thread

Post by kwcat » Fri Jan 08, 2016 11:41 pm

Thought I would post a link to the NDSU Drive for five festivities . Looks like a lot of fun.

If anybody had any links from either side to post please add them.

Kickoff time 10 am mountain on ESPN Saturday 1-9-16.

Not looking good for JSU on their opening drive, can't let NDSU settle in and do what they do.

Ya, JSU had 1 possession the whole first quarter. They got just 1 first down, and the bison have had the ball the rest of the time, on two possessions. Definitely starting out the way the bison want.

12 minutes left in the 2nd quarter, and JSU had had the ball just one time! Crazy.

Wentz has been dropping some great throws, NDSU is a different team with him in the game. I think it would be a much different game if JSU was more aggressive on that opening drive though.

Pick NDSU, wow this might get ugly fast... NDSU's 1st team D will be fresh all day at this rate.

Ya I was surprised they punted on that 4th and inches on the first drive.

I believe they got beat because of lack of film on Stitts O, and they didn't respect the talent of UM's receivers.

NDSU D is well coached, notice that they are in position all over the field to make the play anywhere on the field... people stay at home and the D gets stops. I hope we start playing D like this.

For those whomay not have access to watch or listen to the game NDSU is up 24 to 0 late in 2n qtr. So about the only way NDSU doesn't win this is a collapse like the ducks did.

There is NO WAY I would have picked JSU but even this surprises me.
Just total domination.
231-88 in yardage and TOP is 19+ to 8+.....

I mean, at this point that seems to almost be a rhetorical question. But if I think back to what I thought in past years and how far I thought NDSU might go... 3 straight, I wouldn't have been shocked. 4 is very impressive. 5?! I remember when people were freaking out about App State getting 3. This is just getting ridiculous.

I missed the kickoff for a customer emergency this am. Headed to Specs now to watch the second half.

I think NDSU was only a 2 1/2 point favorite with over under at 56

NDSU is probably a top 10 team in all of college football imo.
