How North Dakota State stopped the Bob Stitt Air Raid

Interesting article although the Montana offense was not overwhelming this year as noted in comment section.

Interesting article. Points out that the trenches were a factor, but it seems mostly it says that stitty got out coached.

Can't make up my mind as to which is better - 55-21 or 48-14, but 34-11 will do.

It will be interesting to see how well the Bobcats new coaching staff can adapt during a game and at half time. Stitty did not adapt versus NDSU.

Hopefully the Bobcats can adjust fairly quickly to what the other team is doing.

NDSU out schemed the Griz. NDSU also has a more talented roster. The OLine is one of the weaker position groups on the UM roster. They got better as the year went on because Germer is a better OLine coach than Gragg, but they were over matched.

It is a good read, but the biggest takeaway is if a team can line up and the DLine beats the OLine one on one, it makes it hard to execute the offense. I don't think this is necessarily ground breaking, is it?

“I think I've heard every coach that's coached against the Grizzlies this year sit up here and say, ‘You know, we're better than those guys, and we can beat those guys,' ” said Kramer. “You know what? The truth is you ain't. So shut. The heck. Up.

The problem with Ash. I felt like we never made any adjustments. I hope this is something that Choate and Gregorak will do a lot differently. Think we are in good hands though.

Much of it was simple in my view. Gustafson was on or off in each of the games and it showed. He was on against us and EWU.
In addition in second NDSU game it was unbelievable how many dropped balls there were by UM receivers. They caught everything in the first game as well in the game against us.

#1 Corner CJ Smith was back for playoff game.
5 freshman Defensive players were playing in their 1st ever game in august vs montana
NDSU crowd rattled Montana with all the noise (especially since they claim wagriz is louder) hahah ya right.

Last but not least, STITT got way too cocky after the 1st ndsu game at press conference and on twitter and NDSU coaches saw it all and wanted Revenge and They got it.
