Physical like Ted Morris? That guy didn't box out all night, and UNC went at him in the post on offense they scored everytime. Then Morris went to the other end and turned the ball over. Beye is 100 times the post player Morris is.

I think Morris actually scored once in a while. Neither one of them boxed out worth crap. No one on the team did. Another stellar year of rebounding like last year. Our strongest lineup last night was with Moss posting up and 4 smaller, quicker guys. It gave us the best intensity on both offense and defense. I think Morris and Beye both need to get tougher inside.

ted is no where near as bad as you think. i watched him play all summer, seen him practice this year, and seen his highlight tapes. he didn't play well at all last night, but he is a good player and i think we'll see that before the season is over.

You must not have watched the Wayland Baptist game. Numerous time he pulled down multiple offensive rebounds. Players do have bad games from time to time, no-one is perfect. I like that he is bigger and more physical than Beye, it gives the cats a different look inside. Right now I think Durham is just trying new things, trying to get the wrinkles smoothed out, as it is still early on in the season. Once he finds his butter lineup, they will start to roll.

Really, I am not worried how many games the cats win out of conference, because 1) they won't get an at large invite from the comittee, no matter how many games they win and 2) they won't get ranked higher than 14 if they win the BSC tourney. 20 wins should keep them out of the play-in game. Don't get me wrong, I want the cats to win every game, but if they can win most of their conference games, that is all I really care about.

Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.

Wayland was a weak team with far poorer posts than UNC, and UNC has pretty weak posts compared to other Big Sky teams.

True, but if anything, their posts were lighter, more atheltic and better jumpers than Ted is. Three Off. Reb in a row? I'll mark it up to good boxing out.
