Never argue with an idiot. They bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Speechless. For lack of better words it's almost a waste of an electric and potent offense this year. Who knows maybe next year too. If you don't fix your defense and we don't fix our offense in time for the brawl both teams are screwed.

Brawl could very well end up 6-3, or 63-62. I wouldn't be surprised either way.

Jones had 285 on 23 carries. 3 TDs.RickRund wrote:I guess that running back had almost 300 yards today. NOT ACCEPTABLE.
As a team PSU had 465 yards rushing.
That's just disgusting and embarrassing.

So is Kane going to be held accountable at all by you guys or are we just going to blame everyone else.

Everyone involved with the defense should be held accountable. Top of the list are Ash, Kane, Marshall.VimSince03 wrote:So is Kane going to be held accountable at all by you guys or are we just going to blame everyone else.

If I were a part of the d I would be SO EMBARRASSED.... Absolutely no reason for such a showing. These young men are not that bad.

Absolutely, Ash and the entire defensive staff should go! We need new blood from somewhere else in the country who doesn't have either of Ash's or Marshalls influences. Until it happens it will be the same ol dumpster fire it is now.VimSince03 wrote:So is Kane going to be held accountable at all by you guys or are we just going to blame everyone else.

There isn't one facet of the defense that showed anything today.
That's coaching and it isn't happening
Kane, Marshall, Beck. They aren't getting it done.

I have said that Ash and Marshall should go; I was hoping Kane was the guy. He may not be, but until Kane has complete control its not really his defense. Based on past performances similar to this it looks like a Marshall defense. If Ash would have had the balls to fire Marshall and promote Kane fully then you could throw this all on Kane. Recruiting is also a huge factor; which is 100% Ash.

Kane is 100% in control of the defense. That has already been established. Runs a completely different scheme than Marshall. The things we are lacking are fundamental. We don't tackle well, don't fit the run, take poor angles, don't pressure the QB, etc. It's like these athletes don't even know how to play football at times.catknip wrote:I have said that Ash and Marshall should go; I was hoping Kane was the guy. So if Kane is 100% in control; what exactly does Marshall get paid for?
