Why not Brady Leaf at MSU? Ryan attended the Sac State, Idaho State, and EWU games. Was he scouting our program?
Has anybody out there heard anything?
Brady is a stud and would do much to strengthen the already great support the Cats have from Great Falls.
He could compete with Carpenter...let the best man win.
With a strengthened running game, dominating D-fense, the experience of our Tight Ends...a QB like Leaf, and a couple of reliable receivers, we could be atop the conference again!
Lets get the Leaf rumor started

I agree! Plus, as much as a drop down QB excites everyone I would always prefer the five year player (or four as in Lulay's case). Most drop downs come in as Juniors and it takes a year to learn the offense. Look at Ochs in year one vs year two.rtb wrote:I think Brady has proved himself at Oregon and will be challenging for the starting position next year. Why leave a 10-1 DI school to come to MSU? It doesn't make sense.

The only sense would be if he competes for a starting job, but doesn't get it. If he ends up 2nd or 3rd after spring practice. Then after spring (as many drop downs do) he thinks about it and says let's go. If he stays he could end up going through his career as a bench jockey. Being a Jr and then Senior, he just doesn't get in.rtb wrote:I think Brady has proved himself at Oregon and will be challenging for the starting position next year. I don't know know important it is to be on a 10-1 Div I team and not play or be the star. He can already say that to his kids in 20 years. He could also say I started on a 10-1 MSU team (living in Montana) that went to the playoffs.
Montana has lost 3 of 4 to MSU and UM has a QB.Swilly3224 wrote:Thought he was going to motana...

If that's the case, BLF, I haven't seen him the last few games.BobcatLionFan wrote:...and UM has a QB.
If you see our QB, please send him back to Missoula before Saturday. It would be greatly appreciated...I think.
