I wasn't making fun of your precious little team. Just pointing out how far from a serious threat the BSC is. It's difficult to get excited about any basketball team that has no serious threat of winning a championship outside its own conference. Even when the league regular season champ plays an also ran without its star player, the BSC still loses by 17. Probably 25-30 with House in the game. Imagine how bad (stupid) it would've been against a NCAA tournament team.

Yes, we suck at basketball, but even if we were as good as um, we'd still suck. And that sucks.

We actually probably agree on just about everything, other than who we want to win the Cat-Griz contests. Your assessment of the BSC seems spot on. Some day, the larger metropolitan areas and the much better conferences are going to push the question of why an NCAA tourney slot is "wasted" on the winners of non-competitive conferences. That discussion is probably already well under way. To that degree, I'm totally on the same page with you. No illusions. I would love to see a Cat team that could beat any team in the region or among the mid-majors except UM. And I would love to see the Griz be able to beat an also-ran A & M (who did manage to take Kentucky to two OT's). But we're a long ways off. Your point is we'll taken.
