Game FACTS!

Post by gtapp » Sun Nov 20, 2005 11:17 pm

Just got home from the game (1000 mile drive) and wanted to post some FACTS about the game:

1. The BEST team won. NO DOUBT! Total DOMINATION!
2. The griz finished third this year! (Yes the BSC does not use tie-breakers but everyone else does and we all know what the tie-breakers are: EWU-1st, MSU-2nd, um-3rd).
3. The griz QB is terrible. He has been in the program for two years and even if he improves 100% per year he will still be terrible as a Senior.
4. The griz are much slower than past teams. Yes the field was sloppy but the Cats did not look as slow and the griz of 2003 were much quicker on the frozen field that year.
5. The griz looked very small. Maybe it was the uniforms. The numbers in the program looked normal but the players did not look that big. A D lineman walked off the field after a play (90 something) he was at most 200 lbs dripping wet.
6. Lex went down on the first hit on most plays. He broke very few tackles.
7. Your WR's looked awful.
9. Your uniforms are still the ugliest in 1-AA.

Gary,
If for any other reason, I'm glad we won to make that drive easier for you. :)

Gary
It was good seeing you in Bozeman finally. When we talked in the Stadium club I didn't realize you hadn't made it to many of the games this year. Here's hoping you can make it more next year. I think we are in for a pleasant surprise.
