You are thinking of Louisiana University at Lafayette Bleedin, this is Lafayette College in Pennsylvania. The East Coast Bias Monster does rear its ugly head again.

The reason the Griz were in ahead of us was because they were 7-2 against 1-AA teams, we were 7-3 against 1-AA teams.

I'm a I-AA Playoff LOSER! Thanks for the clarification.

The Griz will also be ranked higher in the GPI and the I-AA poll. Not to mention almost 30K fans at home ($$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$).

I saw some of the Lafayette-Lehigh game this weekend. They have some good solid hardnosed football players-no doubt, but athletically they are a notch below a Gateway, Southland, or Big Sky team. They looked more like good Division 2 teams.

I don't know why anyone would think that Poly stands a chance in Missoula next weekend. Cold weather and kids who are used to palm trees don't mix.
Yeah - the griz put on one helluva performance against the Cats. I don't know why anyone would think Cal-Poly has a chance as well ?????

Alright, I need to vent. I think they should have made room for MSU. It wouldn't have been the first time 3 from the Big Sky made it. The Cats are co-champions along with E. Wash & UM. It sucks we got left out. The Griz have been WAY over rated all year....we didn't just beat them yesterday, we slapped 'em around! And why in the HELL do they get a home game??? If anybody deserves it, shouldn't it be E. Washington?Anybody know who they are paying??

Cal Poly really showed up earlier this season when they still had a QB...ooops, no they didn't.

Actually, the CP vs UofM game was closer then the final score would lead you to believe. Cal Poly was only down to UofM by three points with four minutes left in the fourth quarter. UofM went up by a touchdown with 57 seconds left to play in the game.

The weather should be nice next weekend. As nice as it can get for a late November footaball in Montana. Good luck.

I think Eastern got the shaft. Since they are the clear leader/winner in the conference they should at least host a game over Missoula. I realize that they pull more fans, but money isn't everything. Teams earned it on the field, not in the wallets!
