The basketball team must have a Cat-griz hang over?

We're down to the home team-Alaska-Fairbanks 32-24 at halftime. I guess right now I'm too happy to care. Maybe the basketball players are the same?

we lost 65-62. Blew a 7 point lead in the last 5 minutes. Durham missed a front end of a one and one and Jefferson missed 2 in a double bonus situation. Unbelievable. I hope someone tells this team that the second half is 20 minutes-not 15. Our RPI is soaring.

Looks like you may lose your bracketology berth! What's going on in AK? Sac is down to Nevada right now by 7, trying to come back...

From what I understand, we still get the Bracket Buster game even if we haven't won a game yet by that point....fortunately. good thing we have that other game today to cheer us up. Methinks the basketball team listened way too intently to all the hype they got in the preseason. Hopefully this will give them a wake up call that you can't just show up and win, and they'll get it together soon.

Anybody else think a tournament in Alaska is a bad idea? A game at Fairbanks against Alaska-Fairbanks is a really hard thing to do. I have a concern that the Cats will play poor first halves, storm back in the second halves, and blow it at the end. More games will help them to improve, I hope. We need to work on free throw shooting.

GO CATS!

From what I understand, Durham just wants the team out of Bozeman during Cat/Griz, so the whole Fairbanks thing is understandable by that logic.

Sorry, I was referring to Andy Katz's weekly Bracketology (potential field of 65). He has MSU as the Representative from the big sky.

C.Durham,

free throws win ball games. Climb the free throw ladder. You CAN do it!

(This is a completely supportive comment. No sarcasm or material to offend anyone was used in this posting, or so I hope!)

What in the world is going on with this team? We're about to go to 0-3 with another loss to mighty Lamar.

0-3 start?

Looking at the teams in the Alaska Tourney, did anyone see that coming?

I wonder what Durham has to say about his players after their pathetic trip to Alaska. With 5 returning starters this is ridiculous.
