and as soon as you play a game where your defense DOESN'T make plays, you will lose because the worst Griz Offense in 15 years won't be able to pick up the slack.

You're correct Gato about Berquist. This guy is not the answer at QB, and most Griz fans know it. Of course, the sugar-coating infirmed who trash-up this board couldn't predict a hospice death.

Will Stapp be the answer/ Now, that's the $64,000 question. I'll tell you this much....if he isn't, then the Griz will have an even WORSE offense next season. They lose most of their O-line. Their receivers are pedestrian, with zero down-field capability. It won't be pretty unless Stapp steps up. Berquist is just too inaccurate on passes over 15 yards to be the answer.

What's funny is Wolfy rips on Hauck's recruits, but then he praises them as well. He lobbied for Berquist to take over for Washington, he likes a bunch of the D players, and they're all Hauck recruits. Mixed messages I suppose...

Of course he also calls himself a "fan" of the Griz...

you'tre right, O'Day is still pinching himself every morning because he was able to get the AD job after being the least qualified candidate being considered.
