CSU- Pueblo

Wins their first D2 national title. Program brought back in 2007. Watching their game I think they would have destroyed the cats. They beat SHSU pre-season. We need a defense like theirs.

Offense wins games. Ours has proven that. But defense wins championships...

Doubt it #15. We aren't that bad. Great win and story behind their team.

Ok maybe not destroy. But defensively they are a sound team. Would love to see this as a pre season match up for the Cats.

Recent DII teams that could have been competitive at the 1-AA level Chadron State and a few Central Washington teams and only serves to reinforce the argument for merging the plus five bowl teams, 1-AA and D11 so they all have the same number of players. Valdosta State could also be included in the leveling scholarship argument.

CSU Pueblo would have enjoyed a deep run in the 1-AA playoffs this year. And you probably had it right. They would have thumped the Cats pretty well.

I went to their semi final game as I am a post baccalaureate student at CSU-P. Graduated with my first BS from Montana State. Proud of both programs. CSU-P facilities need some work that's for sure!

Good luck in your classes. I went that route when I first began teaching; fortunately for me the college allowed ten credits post bac count toward the masters as I never thought I'd ever get a masters let alone a specialists. I only went back to school to add a field and wound up getting the degrees in the evenings--after practice was over.

Did they play the same 3-4 as last year on D?
