I'll bet they get LOOSE once the game starts, but I'm not sure why you wouldn't want that. :lol:

well what i was trying to state is that there is a rumor going around that some of the football players want to "give the game" to the griz in hopes that they dont have to play next weekend and can spend turkey day with their families.... :twisted:

There is no way they would do that. It has to be just that....a rumor.

Sorry to yank you're chain on the spelling....it had to be done. It's Cat/Griz week. :wink:

yeah, hells, rumors are worth the paper they're written on.

That doesn't sound like anything some griz fans would start, does it...?

I find it hard to believe that anyone who went to a university TO PLAY FOOTBALL would throw a game & a chance to keep playing just so they could go home for turkey when they'll ALL be home for Xmas...

If we truly had guys like that on THIS team, they should all be shot, plucked, and stuffed themselves!

The coaches keep saying that this team hasn't played to its potential yet. If not Saturday, then when? I bet that the Cats will be more fired up for this game and they'll play well. They don't want to end the season to eat turkey.

Here's another spelling problem I thought I'd bring up. It has really annoyed me lately for some reason.

your=possessive, belongs to you

you're=contraction of you are

Too many people mix these two up.

There, their, they're - consistant (consistent) - birth (berth)....ad nauseum.
nip it in the butt? wet your appetite? tourney seating? baited breath? you've got another thing coming? :roll:

sheesh. Is this what we pump out of Montana schools? :oops:

This, and virtually all message boards are rife with misspellings, misuse, and bad grammar.

Hints: Well worth a look! :shock:

I've been spending the last 10 hours editing a technical document filled with nearly every writing error and logical pretzel known to man, so I'm a little grumpy. But ... I've got to say ... this was perhaps the strangest thing I have ever seen someone post about our football team.

For anyone to even consider for a second that there is any merit to this crap that some loon in Butte came up with is in itself a huge insult and slap in the face of our team and the Bobcat program.

I sincerely hope this was intended as a joke that just didn't happen to be funny.

Going forward, let's please ignore baseless and insulting rumors instead of publishing them for all to see. And don't call any numbers written on bathroom walls. That is my free advice for the day. :?

Bozbobcat,

as long as you're pointing out spelling errors... a really good one that people CONTINUE to post wrong is this:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Loose-As in loose pocket change (AKA all that the Grizzlies are worth on or off the field)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lose-What the Grizzlies will do against our Bobcats this weekend!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

:)

BOBCATS 16- Griz 06

Yeah, that one is overdue. Lose means something completely different than loose. Come on, people.

Maybe you should re-read my first response in this thread. I know how to loosen clothing and be a good loser. Not that it happens much. :wink:

I don't think it is just out of Montana schools. I don't know what the teachers are teaching, but it certainly is not spelling. :?

And I heard that the Griz have already booked their flight and hotel in Chattanooga. :wink:

I would bet that neither team is looking past this Saturday.

Hey Cat-theotherwhitemeat! ... I wasn't challenging your post. I read your post and you used "loose" in the proper context. My post was actually in reference to Hells Bells.

Some how or another, the Griz fans once again manage to blow things way out of proportion and take it the wrong way!! Do they have an English department at dUMb?
