Shawn Johnson, Justin Paige and Eryon Barnett are all doubtful for tomorrow. I can almost guarantee Johnson and Barnett won't play.

There will likely be at least one other change to the starting lineup, but I won't be able to report or confirm that until tomorrow when the starting lineups are submitted 30 minutes before kickoff.

The only positive is that ISU won't have a chance to prepare for the "new" guy. The team has a lot of confidence in the "new" guy, should have everyone a little more fired up.

It makes sense to me. He did leave thegame last week and did not return. He was shown on the sidelines trying to keep it moving to keep from stiffening up. (I presume).... This is a huge blow. I know people have faith in bleskin. . Will he do fine? Absolutely he will do fine... The problem is fine is not what we need at this point and for this game. Bleskin is middle of the road and will go out and compete his ass off, but llet's be honest. Prukop brought an extra spark to this offense that nobody can rival.

Bad news for Kramer's theory on cold weather if true, means we will be starting another Montana boy on offense.

I understand that all of this is spectualtion but if it's a running back or QB those in theory are our deepest positions. If it's Prukop that hurts a ton Cause then our three fastest guys (Paige, Johnson, and Prukop) more than likely would be out. And as stated Prukop has a extra element he brings to the game. Bleskin would do find and prob throw for 300 yards. If it's a running back then Lasane should get a lot of playing time which I can't wait to see.

If it's on defense we obviously must be a lot thinner over there since the coaches do not sub players when they are tired or hurt so if it's a lineman or a backer we could be in for a very long game.

Just like most weeks I hope all this is just rumors and nothing more.

If Dakota is out, that's probably the worst possible scenario for the 'Cats. Bleskin is a very capable QB, but he's a passer. Tomorrow's game will be a rushing slugfest, already down our fastest and best back, we are hurting... Down our 2 fastest players that really hurts. On the upside, power>speed in cold weather games and Knight, Brekke, Newell are all proven backs with good power running.

I hope our boys have been toughing it out in the cold all week. If so we're going to pound the sh*t out of ISU, they're be freezing their butts off. If we play physical and be relentless it will be an easy win.

Well technically Ash and staff haven't said a word about it at this point. So unless the injury just happened in the last couple days, if he doesn't play technically that's them kind of playing head games.
