I'm so proud to be a Bobcat fan
WOW! What a great turnout at the EWU game. I really don't think I'm off the mark in there being close to 2000 Bobcat fans at the game. We were loud, cheered our team on the whole game. We may not have won the game, but we won the fan battle for sure!!!! I love the blue and gold.

Agreed, that was simply an amazing turnout. I don't know about the 4000 number, but then I have a really hard time with estimating number of people by looking. What I do know is that when we parked, every car that pulled up--even the ones with Washington plates--had blue and gold getting out of it! Absolutely amazing turnout, and thanks to everyone that made the trip, you made it a blast even with the poor turnout of the game itself.

One of the crowd control employees at Eastern told me that our sideline stands held 1500, if that is true then the 2000 number is more accurate with the others of us that sat in the endzone seats.Hell's Bells wrote:you were off the mark in a good directionbarechestcat wrote:WOW! After the game their radio crew was talking about the 8500 fans that were there and how their attendance was so great this year. Wow, that isn't very good, but, they aren't the only show in town like the cats and griz.

On our site we're talking about how loud/knowledgeable the fans from MSU were compared to the EWU fans. Our last home game crowd control made the students section sit during the game when they started to finally stand and yell. The 2,000 or so MSU fans should be commended. EWU has started to increase it's fan base and even though we still lag behind MSU we are getting better. Here's to a Bobcat victory this Sat.!!
I meant to mention I saw a yellow Hummer with a Bobcat logo on the side coming intro Cheney from the West side of town with WA license plates...Thought it was pretty cool.

Yep, playoffs or not this year has been a blast up there in Bozeman at the games. As long as all of us fans stick together and enjoy the games and have fun up there, this program is going to continue to go nowhere but UP! It has been fun meeting you all this year and I hope everyone that bought season tickets this year gets them for next year as it's all about football/experiences/tailgating/scenery/smell when it comes to Bobcat games. I just need to find a nice/pretty single gal that likes to come up to the games
So I'll be trying to add another season ticket holder the mix by next year

I didn't go to this game, but I have gone to others at Idaho St., Weber St., and Spokane against EWU. Bobcat crowds are usually louder than the home crowds and the fans I see are almost always very courteous and don't cause problems. MSU has one of the better road contingents in the Big Sky. For Cardiac, good luck on adding another season ticket holder.
I'd like to do the same.

GO CATS!
It's always a good day to be a Bobcat fan!

My name is Steve, if you'd like to know.

I am with you on that! What would be great if each ticket holder could find one person/couple to get another season ticket and go to the games. It couldn't be that hard to find just one!! Then imagine how much more impressive we would be at the home games!! What a great season, too much fun tailgating and meeting new kids/adults. We are the champions whether we win or not!! I totally agree. If every season ticket holder (or even half) can find another person to get season tickets, the stands will be at full capacity every year!bobcatmaniac wrote:I am with you on that! Thanks for the kind thoughts. I know you posted earlier that your message board has a new site address. Can you re-post it? I still have the old one. Thanks in advance.
