Time for a wake up call

Post by Hell's Bells » Sun Nov 13, 2005 7:58 pm

first off this is not going to be HB disses kramer and his staff. Guys remember kramer has brought this program a long ways since he got hired here.

items to remember here

1) kramer brought back credibility to the football program
2) ewu AVERAGED over 500 yards in total O
3) our wr corp plays like they wear dresses, and its not just the amount of dropped passes against ewu, nau, and sac state. I have seen plenty of times where a wr, gatewood, miller or murry, have slowed on their routs just to see luley overthrough the respected wr by about a good 5 yards at least.
4) griz fans you can correct me on this but i think reid did have his down years at least *one year where the griz were luckey to be .500* averageing at least several losses in conference before DD doing it all and eventually winning the national title.

if anything our loss at ewu just goes to prove that we are only half done with our trail to the N.C. DID YOU SEE OUR O LINE PLAY? I COULDNT BE PROUDER! our d is young and showed how they will play next year by allowing a high scoring ewu team 14 points at halftime

alright well i will be in and out of catnation all week long - school work is beginning to pile up but i will be cheering on a bobcat team that will play well against the griz

***then again i am a natrual optimist***

Since you asked for input from Griz fans, I'll just reply to your item 4. Don Read never had a losing season at UM (1986 - 1995). His worst years were 1987 & 1992 (6-5). His record:

1986___6-4
1987___6-5
1988___8-4
1989__11-3
1990___7-4
1991___7-4
1992___6-5
1993__10-2
1994__11-3
1995__13-2

Against Big Sky opponents, his record was:

1986___3-4
1987___5-3
1988___6-2
1989___7-1
1990___4-4
1991___6-2
1992___4-3
1993___7-0
1994___5-2
1995___6-1

consitering that he was esencially rebuilding a program he has done very well, although 6-5 records wont sit well with the cats let alone the griz at this very year.

Kramer brought back credibility to the program, receivers dropped passes, Lulay didn"t have a good game, and the coaching staff did not have an answer to EW's defense in the second half. You don't fire the coaching staff over these things but the coaches have to take some responsibility.
