Well, it is just "State". Nothing more.
That reply doesn't deserve comment. However, I am curious if you're the same poster that had a bit of a dust up with GrizzlyEdd on the GrizBoard a few years ago regarding Edd's whining about perceived "anti-Griz" comments by the t.v. commentators. If so, may I say a belated bravo. I actually saved that exchange of e-mails and still chuckle about it occassionally.

I'm a UM '96 grad, and I've always called it Cat/Griz. Well, I guess I've sorta been calling it "the Brawl" lately, too, though. Because I'm a modern guy.

I find myself saying it both ways, Cat-Griz and Griz-Cat. Either is fine with me. But I'd always say Montana-Montana State, never Montana State-Montana. Odd??

Interesting...I always say Cat/Griz and when talking to non-montana people about it I refer to it as Montana/Montana State. They both just roll of the tongue better.
