Lets here some different names for the Cat/ Griz rivalry. I mean, other rivalries at least have cool names.
Examples:
Notre Dame-USC's Battle for the Jeweled Shillelagh
Minneosta-Michigan's Battle for the Little Brown Jug
Oklahoma-Texas' Red River Shootout

I was kind of partial to "Montana Power Fall Classic."

I work as an attorney so that I can afford good scotch, which helps me to forget that I work as an attorney.

RIght, the last coule years they handed out gold coins which I think you could actually trade in for stock the last year.

The devil made me do it the first time... the second time I done it on my own.

I still have the 1997 gold coin. It was a good idea and Montana Power was a great sponsor of all Montana athletics (college and high school), but they thought telecommunications was the way to go...bankrupt. Divide War is really a neat way to say it, but Cat-Griz works too.

As does Griz-Cat.

I work as an attorney so that I can afford good scotch, which helps me to forget that I work as an attorney.

Yeah, they play for the "battle of the Great Divide" trophy, or something like that. The trophy started in 2001 and the winning team keeps the trophy for the year. After 100 years, the team that won the most meetings in that stretch keeps it for good. It's a relatively new thing to add to the rivalry.
