I am not watching the game but if the SAC player picked it up behind the line and ran it for a first down then that may be legal.Catdad39 wrote:good job Groves. Profisme, thanks for your quick replies...I appreciate it! I really believe that punt block first down was wrong. Can you think of a situation in any other game where you have seen that? Maybe, i don't understand what happened.

i called somebody at the stadium. I figured out what happened on the block punt. Sac state picked up the ball BEHIND the line of scrimmage and advanced it beyond the first down marker. That is the right call! Sorry for the confusion. It sounded like they just fell on the ball beyond the first down marker, which is not live.
Great TD by the offense. We needed that! We need to put these guys away!

Thanks for the updates guys. I'm out of here to head to the AZ/UCLA game. Should be a good game down here.profisme wrote:I agree, it is time we smell blood and go for the proverbial kill.
It's time for the Cats to not relent and continue to pound it.

What was exactly wrong with Kolone? Did he have a persistent injury or was there more going on?gtapp wrote:It sounds like Kolone has played the whole game. I am a little surprised being his first game in about 6 weeks.

I thought it was a stress fracture in his lower leg (or something similar).lifeloyalsigmsu wrote:What was exactly wrong with Kolone?
