I know and basically agree with you. One of my favorite arguements though is that unless you win championships you can't be great. Like Trent Dilfer should go down in the books as better than Dan Marino. I very much agree with the national stage comment though. Unless you follow Travis very closely his numbers aren't going to wow you into understanding what he brings to the table.grizband wrote:That's not what I meant. What I meant was that would cement his legacy even more, on a national stage.WYCAT wrote:Yep you are right, unless Travis leads us to a NC and wins the Payton he won't be good.

I was listening to ESPN radio the other day, and Colin Cowherd made an interesting point about the NFL that I think applies in this case. He said that basically all QBs have the same talent, and the same coaching. What sets them apart is what he called "it." "Lots of Qbs have that, not many have it." Dave Dickenson had "it," Craig Ochs had "it," Lulay has "it." What he brings to the table is a lot more important than his stats. Another example of this is John Edwards. He never threw for the most yards, or had the best stats, but he won a lot of games. He had "it."WYCAT wrote:I know and basically agree with you. I agree. I think TL slightly outplayed Meyer last year but it was a very close battle between the two. Their D just held up a little better than ours at the end.bozbobcat wrote:I have to agree here. It depends on whose team wins and who has the better individual game. I think as far as MVP goes, who is more valuable to their team than Travis Lulay is to the Bobcats? That alone should be worth an MVP award.jagur1 wrote:Meyer or Lulay for BSC MVP will get settled next week. Don't you think?

Great time to be a BOBCAT!

There is not question that the Cats are Most Improved by having Travis compared to the Eagles and Meyer. Without Travis carrying us through the year we would not be 1st and controlling our destiny. 'nough said.catatac wrote:I agree. I think TL slightly outplayed Meyer last year but it was a very close battle between the two. BTW Travis. Congratulations on moving up to 3rd in BSC history in total yards.
