I think my pitching staff was pretty good but nothing overcome my offensive evaluation ineptitude when it comes to drafting in baseball. I don't know if my team will ever compete in the playoffs again until we do another re-draft. I've got good young players but no real star power.
Sometimes I'm jealous of teams who aren't overly burdened with talented players. Haha...just kidding.
But seriously, if you're interested in trading a pick for one of my players (no Miggy or HanRam), I'd certainly consider.
I'm ready for baseball to start!
I'll trade for Pedroia. Not sure how to trade picks yet but he's a second rounder. I'll give up a pitcher as well.
If I trade my 2nd pick and I have, say, 3 keepers would I not have a pick until round 5 since were doing 4 keepers total?

I don't think the first four picks are tradeable since they are reserved for keepers so you're trades would start with round 5 if im guessing correctly
if you're keeping score, France gave us Burgundy wine, cigarettes, berets, B.O., brie and the Napoleon complex-Bill Simmons

So would they start with round 4 if I only keep 3?

just from scanning the trade page, we might have to set a date/time before draft picks are eligible to be traded

Draft day is set for Sunday. Get on before Friday 5pm to set the time. This will allow for trading/strategery through the weekend

If anyone wants Hamels, Bumgarner, or Jose Fernandez for a mid-round pick, shoot me a trade.

So the draft is this weekend, right?
Is there a keeper deadline?
Is there a trade deadline?
Sorry for all questions, not finding the info on espn....

Draft will be on sunday, time pending the poll results closing before 5 on friday.
I believe trading will open once the draft is set and I can run it until 1 hr before the draft.
I'll see about setting a keeper deadline if its not already done
Because of our truncated schedule, keepers are set to lock 1 hour before the draft

I think you have to set the keeper deadline. So the 1 hour before the draft may be the best thing. Especially for those of us who want to trade.

I do have to set it. I left it as it was set since we're hurrying through the offseason. I can't remember if trades need approved so if they are fair I will push them through

You'll have to approve them (or make sure it's set to go through you rather than a league vote) to get them passed in time before the draft.

Are all 14 teams/owners accounted for?
