Enough

Post by Topher » Tue Nov 01, 2005 2:17 pm

Ok, The smack talk board is my absolute favorite to read, and I am not about to let this go to pot. There are about seven crappy subjects that could all be congiled under one subject "Crappy Griz Fan Smack". If it were creative or funny it would be great. I just don't think there is enough material for Griz fans to be cooing yet. I have come to one conclussion Griz/Cat so far this season, either team could win it this year. Honestly I predict a potential Griz let down in the next two weeks if the players have the same attitude as the fans (I am assuming they know more about football than to have this attitude). My ONLY bias is that I think the Griz COULD go deeper in the playoffs, solely because of good defense and an improving offense. Make of that what you will. With that said, I hope you guys win this weekend, and then beat Eastern out in Cheney. But then I hope you get absolutely trounced by the Griz OR Beat the Griz only to lose to them in Chattanooga. Man, a Griz Bobcat Chipper...I would probably wet myself.
That's my smack for now...Peace out

It appears you're basing that on performance, and what on Earth leads you to that conclusion after wathing the two teams over the last couple games?

Now, if you were exhorting that one can never tell about the Griz/Cat game, there's little denying that.

Unless you became a griz fan over the past year, you'd know that the Game can go either way especially over the past 4 or so years.

I will agree with Topher. The Griz smack has been limpwristed as of late. Come strong or don't come at all.

I think we all know which 2 people are to blame. The smack is so weak that the Cat fans don't even bother to respond, which in turn makes the thread even lamer. Every Griz fan should watch UM2002 to find out a little about good smack.

In the spirit of some poor smack talk, this is directed towards (beenridden)bearbac, Scats, and a little bit towards MaZooLa.

Hey! What did I do? Smacking too hard, or too limp-wristed?

Limp-wristed with regards to your cerebrally challenged fellow fans Scats and (getsridden)bearBac.

You're ok but your arrogance is typical of a griz fan.

Better hold on to your shield, Norman

 :-#
(beenridden)bearBac, try again. How long did it take for you to think of that zinger?

You're so funny.

Please don't let anyone else know that I've got a stamp of approval on the Cats' smack board... I wouldn't be welcome back at e-Griz.

You guys are to be envied. By maintaining low expectations, you're never all that disappointed. I've got an old Browns T-shirt around here somewhere, that I'd be happy to mail to you.

I have to admit I am a bit of a hypocrite when it comes to this rivalry. Try being a big Red Sox fan, and a Griz fan at the same time. It is tough for me to despise all that is the Yankees (and I do), and cheer for a team that uses some of these tactics. I justify it to myself because I have known FAR more Grizzlies than Bobcats. My neighbor was a Griz, and so is a former classmate of mine. I just understand a lot of the Bobcat posts, the "everyone wants to be a Griz mentality" personifies the "everybody wants to wear pinstripes" which makes me want to vomit. While I can understand you loathing some Griz fans, please realize there are some that cheer for this team for reasons beyond the 24,000 capacity crowd stadium. Plus Monte is soooo pimp. I go for the football games, but I stay for Monte.
