It was a release from the Big Sky conference. They did not provide any additional info.iaafan wrote:Can you post where you found this? I'd like to know who ranks 2-14.
The 1-AA web site today had an article about Jacksonville State. They averaged 30K fans per game in 2001 and this year they average 10K. Huge drop! Last Saturday they had 2500 fans in a stadium that holds 65,000. They had a picture. You could not see any fans.
I wonder how far our attendance or that of the griz would fall if we had a couple of bad seasons?

you're saying it didn't drop significantly between 1999 and 2002? as i remember, and no smack intended, the cats were lucky to draw 9,000 during that time.gtapp wrote:It was a release from the Big Sky conference. Actually it didn't fall. It was always that low. I posted the attendance figures at MSU for the last 30 years a while back. The attendance numbers we have now are a record high. The only years we had anything close was the 77-78 years and 84 and 85 due to the NC year.tacoma_griz wrote:you're saying it didn't drop significantly between 1999 and 2002? as i remember, and no smack intended, the cats were lucky to draw 9,000 during that time.gtapp wrote:It was a release from the Big Sky conference. What? You mean a griz fan (from tacoma, no less) was actually on OUR site and DIDN'T have his/her facts straight???
I'm stunned.
tacoma, stick to egriz or take a few seconds to verify your statements BEFORE you puke them out your piehole, otherwise you simply prove yourself to be another grizidiot and we currently have an abundance of those here already.

I at least KNOW the topics I address here and on egriz. Maybe you should start there; I'm sure we'd all appreciate it.
aroma, that's cute. does everyone here know about your egriz meltdown?

Let's not break the string people. Get out and buy your tickets and let's make some noise on Saturday
Yes, we need to be there! AND LOUD! Only 2 more regular season home games to be played for Lulay and a host of Seniors. Lets make sure we pack the place in again to see us get revenge on a team from last year! I am actually looking forward to this game. I hope we give them both barrels (both halves). Sounds like Sac. State players rubbing it in last year to our locker room.

Didn't we upset #1 Idaho that year as well?catamaran wrote:93 was a big year since the university was really pushing the centennial and brought in a lot of alumni. That and the class of freshmen that came in that year REALLY LIKED THEIR SPIRIT(S)....I'm proof positive of that
