Agreed! I am glad we pulled this off, but it would be really nice to see the team win a game from start to finish and not rely on Lulay to do it all.

Not a very impressive second half for the Cats. A win is a win, but we should have continued to dominate like we were the first half. If this keeps up though, I'm going to live to ripe old age of 25.

i think we have to give the defense credit for the great first half and the last series with the big stop. The offense comes through when it really has to. We so have the potential to put it all together! We are 3-1!

ya...he's very good...also a bad call on NAU's 4th and 15...that should have been a penalty. Don't have to be good with questionable calls.
Lulay had nothing to do with any non-call, thus it has nothing to do with him carrying the team.

What a stupid post.

I agree with you. We really need to start putting together a FULL game though. We are playing lots of one half football and that needs to stop. The D stepped up huge on that last drive and with Lulay back there, anything can happen. We are getting some help out of the griz with PSU and could us another upset of Eastern to help as well. 3-1 and tied for the top of the Big Sky. One game down, three more to go!

Glad to see the win, but man this team is not doing anything for my receeding hair line. :D

Why is it that we play to the level of our opponent week in and week out?

I feel sorry for our D. They looked good, when they had their breath. They were on the feild all day long.

A win is a win but NAU is a very bad team. I hope we play better against EWU and the griz.

I'm happy about the win. :) A conference win is big, but we will have to play next week and here on out like we did in the first quarter today. If we do that, EWU and the Griz will be in trouble. But we really need to play like that, not like we did in the second half. But we need to play well against Sac St. next week so that the games with EWU and the Griz have Bobcat title implications. Let's go Cats and hats off for the win today.

GO CATS!
It's always a good day to be a Bobcat fan! :) =D^ \:D/

Yep. I feel the same way. BTW, the TOP was 2-1 in favor of NAU... and we still won...

Defense played great. All I read on this board is how great our offense is. Well today we pisssed down our leg on many opportunities to blow this game wide open.. They play when they have to. Lets pile on the scores instead of making the defense work their a$$ off. It seems that any time we need to move the ball we do. How else do you explain the pitiful offense in the second half and then a great drive once the game gets tied.

We blew a 22 point freekin' lead! We made an injured and struggling quarterback look like Micheal Vick...again! We fumbled and lost the ball four stinkin' times! Our kick off team is clueless-coach tell them they need to field the ball and not let bounce...please!

and we still won the dang game-I'll take it.

This team needs to be under pressure to perform well-that's all there is too it! With a 22 point lead all our offense can do is go 3 and out and make the defense tired. Then when they finally tie it up-we cooly march right down the field and score a touchdown-easy peasy.

Kramer has to figure out a way to put these guys under pressure so they perform no matter what the situation is-such as...the next guy who screws up has to run upstairs and kiss Cliff Hysell on the mouth-something like that!

I'm with you. We have got to make a statement 'just because', on both sides of the ball. The defense flattened out in the 3rd and 4th quarters and when it was 3rd and long we looked BAD in that half on D.

Rather than cheerleading the crowd they should be making plays and the crowd will EXPLODE!

We have to step it up from here on out, or I am afraid we will be out of the picture.

I think the defense has menopause. Looks great for a half then....BAM!... mood shift in the 3rd quarter.

Did we actually blitz on 3rd and fifteen? Did we get our second sack of the YEAR?

It was like Lulay got fed up on the last drive and said "Okay.....one more time...."

Never the less, a win is a win.

Can we win the rest? Hmmmmmm....

lets give nau some credit

they made some really stupid mistakes in the first half
they have the worst kickoffs in the big sky
but they still have muretta

i think they jsut didnt want to take an egghead in conference more then we wanted to win the conference. that is not saying anything about our desire and it speaks volumes about how scrappy that nau team was
