Anyone who's been here for any length of time has taken a break from these message boards. Some of us just disappear for a while and come back when we're ready; others make a big announcement that they're leaving. They almost always come back, though.

When I first started reading BN and e-Griz about 9 years ago (yikes!), I would get riled up somewhat easily. I'd let smack talk get to me, take the troll bait.

I had to take a break. I don't get agitated anymore, but I still don't like smack. That's why I truly appreciate how well the mods regulate that around here. I never visit the smack forum because that's just not my personality, I'm not a trash talker. And I don't like hearing it either. But I've learned to let things go. I either skim over posts from the usual suspects, or completely ignore them.

I rarely post anywhere but I for one enjoyed Alpha's posts. And yes I am a Bobcat and Griz hater. That may be why I like Alpha because he can get their board so riled up.

I did. I called his son gay, after incessant and frequent "jokes" about raping my ill mother. Not once did I threaten him, his family, or anyone for that matter. He has however threatened me. Now he's trying to play victim and spread his lies, all part of a pathetic cry for attention. I would love to believe he's finally leaving, but more likely than not, it's just another one of his "trolls." Like others have said, he ignites fires, pours gas on the flames, and then cries wolf when the inferno he's created burns him.

My apologies to all the Cat fans for all the BS here involving me, caused by him. However I won't stop defending myself and my mother against his slander, vitriol and vulgarity.

Where did all of this "chatter" take place? As a mod, I never saw any of it ... which either means that it wasn't on these boards (which is what I hope it is the case) or I just missed it (which makes me happy personally, as I hate seeing that kind of stuff, but it would be failure on my part to moderate the boards to the levels they should be moderated).
