I hate to say it but the Bobcatnation needs to be cheering for the Griz this weekend. Portland State currently has us over a barrel, and I do not want to depend on ISU or WSU to beat them. We will take care of our business on Nov 19th, but for now we need a little love from the griz to help out. :? :?

I think I will root for PSU this weekend and WSU & ISU the next two. I really think that WSU is a much better team now then when we played them. They will beat PSU.

It does not really matter, as I believe we need to win out to get the auto bid. EWU has two losses but owns wins over PSU and UM, If we lose to them on the road they hold the tiebreaker against all 3. PSU has beaten us and if they get by the Griz would have tiebreakers against both. MSU needs to win against UM and EWU to have any tiebreaker advantage.

MSU needs to win the next 3 games and i think they get an at large bid.

UM will beat PSU this week. Then PSU will lose to either Weber or ISU in my opinion. PSU will be out.

MSU will have beaten EW (3 losses) and then whatever happens in the Brawl of the Wild. (we win --> BIG SKY TITLE OUTRIGHT, if we lose and we should be an at large big with 7 conference wins and 3 losses (they don't hold 1-A losses aginst you).

That seems to me the best shot we have .... win the next 3 and let the Brawl of the Wild decide our fate.

If PSU beats UM we might be in trouble I think. I think we need UM to knock them off and pull for ISU/WEBER. If PSU wins, there is a big log JAM and they still control their own destiny. We still have UM on the schedule so I think we need UM to win this week (as much as I hate to say it) :)

They won't that PSU QB will have a bad bad day at Wash-Griz Trust me on that one.

I find it funny that the talk on this board has gone from a 3-1 to a 4-0 finnish the season. Has Weber given you that much hope? I'd hate to play EWU the rest of the season since they more than likely are going to start kicking some butt IMHO>

i honestly belive that the griz have at least one more loss in them before cat griz...ewu gave everybody a template on how to beat them, and everyone will take advantage of it.

Eastern had the same thing happen to them as the Cats did last year. Everyone said they had the conference locked up with easy games. Uh OH! I guess not so easy. We can't control what the other teams do, but the EW is definately key this year and if Weber can score points on their D and win there, then MSU definately can as well. We need to take care of business at home though first. NAU/SAC STATE are not GOING TO LIE down for us that is for sure. We need BIG CROWDS for these games as they are all KEY! NOISE NOISE NOISE. Then it comes down to the EW game which is pretty much a playoff game for us in my mind (put EW out of the playoff picture and puts us in at least 2nd place in conference - Assuming PSU gets beat by UM and loses to ISU or Weber ).

JUST WIN BABY! We have 3 home games left and a very winneable game on the road. I like our chances .. especially with the Red Headed Houdini running the show.

ONE GAME at a time...we can't take either NAU or SAC State for granted....there are 100's of permutations...let's just hope the CATS win out!

The PSU QB is not that good. we made him look like an all league 1st teamer, which he is not. Don't expect anything star studded from PSU in passing like they did against the Bobcats.
PSU just has a very good ground game (their runner is first class) and a good run defense. UM has a very good run defense and a run game. Should be a good game. Depends which team makes mistakes, which you can never predict.

When you play on the road in the BSC, it is tough. Especially at the top 8 teams location.

EWU has a good team, but when they make mistakes they seem to lose. They have shown that they can win however without the mistakes.

No matter what crap is flying around, the conference is wide open. The guys will have to win on the field, not through the smack that is thrown around by guys that have never been on the field.

Jag,
I was taking a peek at EWU's site this morning. It sounds like a lot of their players are injured; OL playing DL, Kimball and Cole beat up, etc.
You could very well be correct in their response to the loss. But, with UC Davis and Cal Poly coming up in their schedule, they could remain beat up.
