This guy deserves some credit. I wanted to start a thread letting everyone know what a relief it is to have an at least somewhat stable FG kicking game.

He is 13/14 on XPs (I remember the miss, it was a bad snap/hold).
He is 8/10 on FGs missing only in the 40-50 range.

Haven't we missed like 4 or 5 PATs?

Either way, Hastings is having a fantastic season. For once, our Kicking isn't a question mark.

A lot of his field goals have come from the right hash as well. We were 0'fer from there last year.

Some times I wonder if and how many CURRENT players actually read this board consistantly so they get the couple of great jobs.

If they do, they would have to have thick skins to read (no matter how truthful it is)

The DL can't stop the run or rush the passer.
The DBs can't cover receivers
The LBs can rush the passer or stop the run.
The OL can't block
The RBs can't run
The receivers are dropping to many balls.
The TEs can't block or catch.
Their coaches don't know what the h*ll they are doing

I think they might just visit it to get pictures and stay away from many of the topics like "Does our O-line suck?" or "Can we Beat PSU?" -- I would think they are staying with the run into the wall for the coaches approach and not want to look at the questioning of their abilities or their desire

And to think I thought this thread was going to be about how Hastings should be boycotted because they are renting out copies of "The Night of the Grizzlies". Shame on me.

you know elk, I have friends who are Griz fans and we get along very well; even during cat/griz (note the order) discussions.

But, it's people like you who don't know jack about football and just leave their mindless dribble across the pages of this board who make us despise the Griz program so.

I'm only posting this because it's a pet peeve of mine (right up there with people who use the term "pet peeve") and I see it wrong much more than I see it right ... but the more correct word is "drivel."

I actually got into a very big argument with my girlfriend about this exact same subject. Needless to say, no one won.

My case was that when I say dribble, I mean their words are no better than pure spit. She didn't buy it, I'm sure many other people don't as well. But I'm equating their worthless words as nothing more than drool.

Just to be sure before I posted, I looked them both up (since I hate to be wrong if I am going to correct someone). Drivel is actually a derivative of the word dribble, but refers specifically the spit itself, sort of. Dribble is a verb, and drivel is a noun. So your argument is pretty much right ... but with a slight semantic twist.

Touche. We never bothered to look at if it was a noun or not. Drivel it is from now on.
