Okay, I was wrong. PSU is getting the ball back with less than 2:00 left deep in their own territory. But with PSU's poor passing game, I'm not sure if they can close the deal here.

Good lord. PSU had a guy deep without anyone within 10 yards of him, and the QB botched the throw. The QB can't throw a deep ball this game.

On 4th down, they finally complete a pass -- short of the 1st down.

PSU looked great in the 1st half, pretty weak in the second. D looked tough, but the O is just too one dimensional to win this game.

Game over.

If PSU is soooo good running the ball and cannot throw a lick, why would we not put eight guys near the line and go man cover in the secondary?

Rubin leads the nation in rushing yards. I'd say they are pretty good.

I'm thinking that's a pretty good plan. From what I saw, forcing them to prove that they can beat us up top with the QB is a risk worth taking.
