Now that makes zero sense.

WOW! That's incredible that neither the refs or the Griz coaching staff figured that out!
Coaching staff chose to take wind rather than the ball.
I still thought that meant they would receive in the second half. I can't believe I've never seen that before...or never noticed it anyway.

I would assume they could. Officiating contracts at the college level are typically year by year. Assuming the coordinator of officials could fill their spots they could very easily never officiate another Big Sky game again.

Griz radio broadcast said Delaney chose to take 4th quarter wind rather than to receive

Thats some crazy logic. Although Griz seem to be actually playing this half anyways.

They're saying Minter is still on the Buchanan list. That's good to see if it's true.

This game is over. I was impressed at how long UNC hung around though.

Oh man, brutal call. Game was over anyway, but Griz fans will just say they dominated the whole game because the score will look that way.

For those of us not watching, what was the terrible call? Infield fly rule with simultaneous catch?

UNC receiver was bobbling a pass, then dropped it. Griz player picked up the ball and ran it back to about the 5. UNC held though and UM kicked a FG.

Not this griz fan. Pretty unsatifying win. We actually threw it deep a couple of times, but it really didn't matter as the quarterback was not close on them. 4 turnovers in the first half and we only had 10 points to show for it. Offense accounted for none of them. Bizarre choice to choose the wind instead of the ball. Don't overthink it Mick. We are a running team. Who cares about the wind? I certainly did not feel like we made any huge strides. It appeared as if our secondary played better, but there were still plenty of blown assignments. I think Souther Utah passes for over 400 next week and likely gets the win in Missoula. Feels a lot like 2010 to me. Lots of struggles yet to come I am afraid.

I disagree. UM has some problems but they are better than SUU. Especially at home. UM will win.

the friz should win, but we also said that when they played nau, I think SUU is a better team than NAU.
