As we get into the Conf. play everyone should start clicking. It will be a game on Sat. I wish you guys luck after this game. ISU 28 Montana st. 21 Oh yea, I hope you guys kick the crap out of the Grizz this year. Where do you play?
We're at home, and will kick the griz butts just like we're going to kick yours on Sat.
Oh no he didn't!

bengal00,

That's fine; I doubt ANY team has reached it's potential IN SEPTEMBER.

See, in my estimation, our 42-6 win over SFA was about 75% of our potential.

I could be wrong, but reading the write-ups and analyzing the stats, you guys simply aren't as good as your record. I predicted your win last Saturday not so much because you guys are good as the fact that I don't think Eastern is as good as most "experts" do; a team with a weak (and that's being generous) defense just can't consistently go out and win shootout after shootout. Meyer & Co will likely average 30+ points per game in the conference; problem is, their D will likely do the same. I won't be at all surprised to see PSU send the Eagles to 0-2 in the Big Sky tomorrow, which again will take a little luster off your win last week.

I've yet to see ANY ISU fan posting here address the fact that your opponents are 3 - 13. Thoughts on that?

Look, we Bobcats get just as carried away after a big win as you guys are this week; you start believing your team is invincible because they've beaten a team everyone thinks is a great team. Look back at our chatter leading up to the Cal Poly game & the aftermath of that loss & you'll see what I mean.

Does all this mean you can't win tomorrow? Of course not. All it says is despite your record vs ours, MOST analysts would make you an underdog tomorrow and underdogs GENERALLY lose.

Grizzlies: 2-5 when it matters most

Idaho State always plays us tough, until this year. We jump out to an early lead, shutdown the running game and force their qb to throw. Problem for them is he throws to our team 2-3 times.

Naming names is kind of low and takes the fun out of teasing IMO.
Not cool.

Yeah, it must be quite a feat when you celebrate a victory over Western Montana by pulling out the guns!!!

I have to revamp my earlier prediction. I looked at some predictions on the ISU board and their predictions were much more exciting than mine.

Lulay: 615 passing, 150 rushing, 6 TDS
Domineck/ Gathing/ Groves: 400 com. yards rushing, 5 TDS
Defense: 3 TOS all for scores
SP Teams: 2 PRs for TDs and 1 KO for a TD, throw in a blocked FG that goes for a TD as well.

Final score: MSU 126- ISU 2

Supposedly they have a great D so I will give them a safety.

Things are starting to get a little chippy today I see. If the Bengal players bring the same type of (over) confidence with them that their fans have it should make for a fun game. Can't wait to get things kicked off tomorrow.

OOOOOOHHHH, are they doing egriz predictions over at bengalnet???

Though I will say I haven't seen too many of those overconfident predictions coming from the griz faithful this year.

My apologies. I guess it would have been better had I said:

Well, I'll be sure to have them say hello to the Montana State University basketball player who was convicted of raping a 15 year old girl and the Montana State University Football Assistant Coach convicted of dealing crystal meth.

I hate this kind of stuff too. If you're going to dish it out and characterize an entire team of good kids by what a few bad apples did, then expect to get it served back.

Of course you had 7 bad apples in one weekend following a victory over a NAIA team... Imagine if it were a DIII team! There would have been 20 bad apples driving and shooting up Pocatello!
