I do believe they are much improved from last year ( they did put up 17pts against Fresno), but all of a sudden after the Bison shut them out the same people are now suggesting Weber is going to get walked over by every team in the BSC. Which is it going to be? I just can't imagine they are destined to go 1-10 again.

I am leaving Fargo around noon on Friday and driving to Billings. Should be a good time tailgating with you cats. :)
ill take this one

weber can be much imporved and still get walked on by every single team in the big sky.

The Sue wouldn't sign the deal to continue the rivalry last year so we don't play them anymore. They came crawling back this year but we said thanks but no thanks. Good riddance!

Nick,

ARE YOU FRICKIN' KIDDING ME?

Telling US that we lose faith pretty quick? There's more gloom & doom on egriz FOLLOWING A WIN than there is here.

Yes, there are a lot of folks concerned by what we saw at Cal Poly last week and yes, this is a top 5 (IMO) IAA team coming to town on Saturday. IF the Cats bounce back with a strong performance and/or a win, I have no doubt that we'll be in the hunt in the Big Sky, as I still believe we are as talented as any team in the conference (although losing Mac is devastating (griz fans, imagine losing your Mac(Intyre), only ours is better than that).

All I can say, Nick, is that right now I'd pick us to down the Griz by 14+ if we played in Bozeman this Saturday; as the season progresses, every week that I think we're ahead of dUMb, it's all good...

In Dakota? We play SDSU on Nov 12. That will settle who the best team is in "Dakota."

If you refer to the UND2 Sue as being the best fb team in "Dakota," apparantly you haven't been around lately...

You started with the Sisters of St. Mary and we played Ok State, lets see how Saturday shakes out.

MSU--33
NDSU--15.

Defense stiffens when called upon. NDSU moves the ball but can't throw when they need it this weekend.

Lulay and Greatwood pick up where they left off last year. 200 yds and a couple of td's

I predict we run NDSU right out of town. In fact we will run them right off the cliff over at three forks' Buffalo Jump State Park.

Well PDXKAT, Ill give you that and the advantage at QB because of the rushing yds Lulay can put up, but that doesnt diminish Walker as a serious threat.

The Cats are back this week! At home, with Gatewood as a dager through the NDSU D, we will triumph!

Cats 31
NDSU 14

While I'm glad Rick is going to be back, I think there are 3 guys that benefit directly from his return & will all be BIGGER factors in the game because of him:

Murray
Guinn
Travis

I would expect NDSU's secondary to be leaning heavily toward Gatewood; they know he can hurt them. Given that, I think Travis is really going to have some great chances to get the ball to Murray & Guinn. I won't be surprised if BOTH those 2 end up with more catches than Rick, which would mean a pretty good passing day if Rick does catch 4 or 5 balls!

or you could look at the other side of the coin and say that they havent seen him on any tape from this year and not give him enough attention.

This is a tough one for me. Either way the Griz will have some braggert in their face. Is there any way both teams could lose? Intuitively, I am thinking the bobcats are reeling, without their stud linebacker, and weather conditions that will negate Lulay's passing advantage and force the bobcats to prove that they can run the football.

I don't cheer for the bobcats often but I see this as more of a loyalty game than anything. I really don't want NDSU and the GWFC thinking they are superior to the BSC.

This should be a good one and I am looking forward to it as if it were a Griz game. Here's to the bobcats holding up their end this weekend. May the best team win.

Buy this man a beer. You would have had it dead on if we didn't mess up the PAT.
