Reasons the BOBCATS WIN Saturaday

Post by beartrainer » Fri Sep 23, 2005 10:26 am

1. The team will all kinds of fired up after the disapointment last week.

2. The fans better be all kinds of fired up (I mean it), for what WILL be a fantastic game. And what could turn into a secondary rivalry.

3. WE are Home.

4. My 4 year old daughter has only been to 4 Bobcat football games but they have one every one she has attended. The first was CAT/griz 3 years ago. She is as loyal of fan as a 4 year old can be, we have a cat poster in our rec room we have a poster of the 1984 NC team and every game day morning when we aren't in Bozeman she goes down and kisses the poster for good luck. This weekend she wants to take the poster, frame and all to Bozeman with us, for Saturday morning. And I am such a softy I think we just might.

Anybody else have some quirky reasons...?

So there.

With all the negative things affecting our youth these days-it just warms my heart to hear about this young one being raised right. An inspiration to us all!

I'm thinking that our Offensive and Defensive linemen have got to vastly improve their play/production for MSU to have a chance in this game. Our linemen are the weak links of our team. Unfortunately, you build great football teams around quality linemen. These guys have to come out with their ears back and an "I gotta prove something to the world, Can Do, win or die," attitude.

That being said, I look for them to play a great game. No doubt they are tired of the fans and opponents questioning their abilities and inate manhood. I'm sure Coach K has been on their arses to prove their worth. Surely, Coach K has been on the O & D line coaches arses too by barking "I want these guys so hungry that they'll eat the flank steak off a stick horse!! If they don't or can't play smash mouth football slobber knocking style, then give them a skirt and a manicure!!" :x

I believe our team will respond this weekend. They know what is expected of them. They have the right tools to win. I love our Bobcats in this one!! GO CATS!!!!

CATS 29
NDSU 27

P.S. Here's to both teams having a hard fought, injury free game. Here!! Here!! ( A little too early in the day to hoist a frosty beer salute to the lads). GO CATS GO!!!!!!! :D

The Bison have scored on offense, defense and special teams in each of the past two weeks and are first in the nation in turnover margin (+3/game). NDSU is also third in scoring defense (4.7 points allowed per game) and has intercepted seven passes.

Our special teams and our 'hands' guys better step up this week and keep the TO's to ZERO. If we do that, then NDSU doesn't get any breaks they have been feeding on the last 3 weeks and we have ourselves a heck of a ball game. NO GIMMEES this week. I would rather us punt 3-4 times in a row than give up a special teams TD or a fumble deep in our own territory.

BE THERE .. AND BE LOUD .. GO CATS!

I hope that was a huge emphasis in practice this week. With the conditions tomorrow I'm guessing that ball will be on the ground a few times - hopefully our guys are flying to it...

Great time to be a BOBCAT!

Actually I think I have changed my mind. If we get conservative over a bad game the week before we probably will end up losing this game. We need to go into the fight with all GUNS A BLAZING. We need to dicate offense/defense in this game and I like our chances. We are very hard to defend when we are aggressive down the field and the line is picking up there blocks. They blitz .. WE MAKE THEM PAY TOMORROW.

We need to get ahead early. I don't think they have an ample enough of a passing game if they get down early. They are bragging how they are going to run all over us, well they won't be running if its 14-0 in the 2nd quarter. They'll have to abandon the pass if we get up early, so we need to come out and score quickly.
